I'm posting this request on behalf of my brother-in-law, and his question is Greek to me, so my apologies if the info is incomplete or inarticulate. Brian is running windows 3.1 using a Supervoice modem on a Compudyne system (Acer). He's trying to data modem an MS Publisher file, but the system won't allow it. He tries to rename his file from beacon.pub to beacon.trm and gets told that's an invalid setting. What should he do? Please post here, or e-mail to ellis AT research DOT att DOT com. Thanks for any help!
