You're right. I've tried ms_sh, and it works fine. However, 
I don't like the copyright policy of this package, so I will
eventually use it to bootstrap GNU bash (if I find time :-)).

For all who are looking for a bourne compatible shell:
Try ms_sh23b.zip, available from all Simtel mirrors.
