Subject:	GRX20.beta3 problem

I know, I know, I shouldn't bother about beta versions.
But I encountered a problem and just wanted to know wether
somebody else had the same problem and maybe how to solve it.

I have a mach32 accelerator card on a PCI pentium system, ati windows driver
version 2.3, windows 3.1, dos 6.0, djgpp version 1.12maint4.

GRX20 itself just works fine, within and without windows.
But when I use 256 color modes (640x480 or 1024x768) with VESA or ati28800
drivers, and task switch to windows, most icons are black, as well as most
buttons within the windows (minimize, maximize and so forth). This 
happens also, when I switch to windows only after finishing the application 
and switching back to text mode.
The problem does not happen, when I use 16 color modes.
It does not exist on two other systems having an WD6000 VL, 
and Tseng ET4000 adaptor, respectively.
It does also occur on an ELSA Winner 1000 (VL).

Any clues?
