Of course I use this on a different version of djgpp (hacked to death...)

There is an option but I can't remember it! Instead edit your
lib/specs file to look like this:-


*cpp:
%{posix:-D_POSIX_SOURCE} -lang-c-c++-comments

...and from now on C++ comments are legal...

(Time the FSF *finally* made their *&#$ minds up about this...;)
