;)Hi,
;)
;)I'm trying to compile a C program I have which unfortunately has
;)several C++ style comments.  I've tried gcc -x c++ -Wall -c foo.c.
;)But I have problems in the link step if I try to link without
;)the -x option. Is there a way to compile the code without having
;)to change the //'s to /* */'s?
;)

Use the -comments-c++ flag (to gcc)

Another 'why tell anyone we put it in' flag from the FSF ;)
