	I;m folowing up to my own post to clarify some things here. Several
people have said that I can't ping by name withou a nameserver.  This is
tru, *but* I am pingin by IP address.  Also the host I am pinging is on
the ame local network as my PC runnning the TCP package. I have tries with &
without the gateway entry in the config file. 

	ny help on this would be appreciate.
