_The same commands? How about C/C++-mode, Makefile-mode, the "compile"
_command and so on? Emacs is a bit more than "^X^C" ;)

He meant what he said-- the SAME commands, including the compilation, syntax
highlighting, etc, but with the addition of speed and small size.

The catch?  Yes, there is one: Jed uses a different language than Emacs, so
you can't just use elisp programs.  Fortunately, the new language is very
good; it can either look like C or Forth.  I like it a LOT better than Lisp.

_P.S.: anyone who works with WinWord has at least 8Meg...

And anyone that works with PC-Geos and Geowrite has at least one meg.
