Subject: emacs in an X window on dos/windows?

Hi everyone

I have the 19.28 dos port of emacs, and I also have the Hummingbird
eXceed X server running on my PC. I am able to use emacs from the dos
prompt, as well as in a dos window under windows(the menus don't work
in this case). What I am wondering is, Is it possible to bring up
emacs in an X Window? Can it be done? If so, how? Do I need to
recompile emacs? Do I need to get a different X server? Is it possible
to make emacs X aware without switching to Linux?

Thanks for any help.
