Dear Programmers,

I still have the same problem, that I have installed gcc with the C++ option

to compile such programs on a pc box.
I have I think everything installed properly (?!), and I got some advice.
If I type in go32, then gcc states that something alike go32, version 1.14,
lowest version I can run is 1.12.......
gcc -v does not do it either.

Before I had gcc 2.6.1 (?) at least running for C programs, but I needed to
compile a big Geometry packet written in C++, that's when all troubles begun.
So I reinstalled gcc263.

I gave up and reinstalled the entire djgpp pack with maintenance releases.
Unfortunately I can now not even compile the smallest C program on my box.
I type in

	gcc -v xywrite.c
That is all.
Below the output of the the gcc is included.
There is a Page fault at ..... message and the rest you see.

What could be the reason for this.
The C and C++ programs are tested and compiled using gcc and g++ on
our Sparcs using Solaris 2.3 /2.4.
Can anyone help

below is the output of the simple command to compile a tested(!) C program
The same output I get if I compile a C++ program
