Huh?  I don't see how you can get that opinion from what you posted.

The new front ends will automatically work under DJGPP as well.

They might have old information.  A previous version of djgpp used gcc
2.5.8.  They don't maintain that information; they rely on others to
provide accurate information for them.  If it is wrong, send them a
correction.

They are expending NO efforts to support MS-DOS.  That's MY job.  And
your job.  All they do, which is about all they do for any platform,
is let me send them patches that make gcc work on my platform.  If
nobody sends them patches for a given platform (*any* platform), that
platform becomes unsupported.
