Subject: problems with graphic card when using GCC 2.6.3
Cc: df AT uran DOT informatik DOT uni-bonn DOT de, mf AT uran DOT informatik DOT uni-bonn DOT de

I have recompiled several graphics applications using GCC 2.6.3 under DOS.
While compiler and DOS extender seem to work correctly, the executables do not:
All I get is a dark screen, or vertical lines with dancing points inbetween.
The system used is a P60 with PCI/ISA-board and 32MB RAM, the graphic card is a
Matrox Impression Plus PCI card with 2MB VRAM; the previously used ISA card
showed the same effect, however.

Does anyone have an idea concerning the reason of the described behaviour?
