Subject: What is the DJGPP <-> GCC version 'mapping' & Pent. Opts ?
To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu

I just grabbed BNU252xx + GCC263xx off of oakland (and other files too)...

With _this_ version of djgpp what version of gcc is the port from (exactly) ?

I read FAQ100 (older than GCC263) and noticed djgpp version 2 coming
out first quarter '95 - Did I download too soon ?? :<

Second Subject:

Intel ported gcc to the x86 line - does djgpp incorporate any of these
diffs ? - Surley Intel is one of the best porters and the most knowledgable
about '486 and Pentium optimizations - they permit their port to be used !

I think they intended it to go into gcc (for everyone else) rather than
djgpp (for us non-Unix types) but it will help in some areas of djgpp.
