I recently discovered simtel and have downloaded and read
faq100 and djgpp.faq. However, I cannot find a direct
answer to this question.

I have a simple pgm.c program which is compiled under the
Borland 1.0 compiler. It opens a file, reads it and adds
up the data in it, and writes a second file.

Can I use the gdb debugger ( go32 -d gdb pgm ) with pgm.c
or do I have to compile it using gcc to do so?

>From what I read in the faq, I would think not. But, I
didn't want to give up without getting a definitive answer.

Thanks for your help. Please respond to my email address
