For all those who are victims of the Info-doesn't-like-
DOS-CR/LF-text-files problem: I have uploaded a patched
version of Info which eliminates this misfeature (IMHO)
to omnigate, to Steve Turnbull's ftp server and to DJ's
ftp/Web server.  The patched version should read both
Unix-style *and* DOS-style Info files without complaining.
It does for me for more than a year now.

To get the program, use anonymous ftp to one of the sites
below and get the file info.exe:

   ftp://omnigate.clarkson.edu,       chdir /pub/msdos/djgpp/pub
   ftp://turnbull.sk.tsukuba.ac.jp,   chdir /pub/djgpp/packages
   ftp://delorie.mv.com,              chdir /pub/djgpp/contrib
