Subject: Debugging a Graphics application
Reply-To: mwodrich AT eleceng DOT uct DOT ac DOT za

Hello

This is probably a FAQ, but there is bery little mention of debugging
graphics programs in the DJGPP docs, except saying to use the
monochrome option in go32 so that is uses the "monochrome monitor".
(Actually I only have one ...? Is it a "virtual" monitor)

I am currently working on moving a scrabble game from T.Pascal to
DJGPP (nice big dictionary in memory - no problem!), but I am unsure
as to how one debugs graphics programs ... You can't see the go32
topline, and the debuggers seem to work in text mode...

As a PS : Is there an IDE (like in TC or TP) that allows you to edit,
compile, run + debug programs for DJGPP. This would be
          really excellent!

Reply via email or this list...

Thanks in advance!
Mark Wodrich.--
