Subject: GDB Using stdin?

I'm having problems using GDB with a program that uses standard-input.
All is well when running (other) programs that do not use stdin. I use
this form of the run command:

    run < foo.inp

Where foo.inp is my input file, in the current directory. GDB just sits
there, forever.

Has anyone seen this type of behavior?

FWIW:
    CPP 2.5.4
    GNU C 2.5.4 compiled by GNU C 2.5.4
    go32 1.11maint5
    GDB 4.12
