I have gotten messages from 16 new people in the last day.  Most of them
are strongly in favor of a News group.  I have also received several
messages which strongly suggest that the vote won't be a problem, and
to get the RFD in place (the argument being we don't have anything to
lose by trying, it certainly won't happen if we don't try).

Since I really respect some of the people who said the vote won't be
a problem, I trust they will help beat the bushes when it comes to the CFV.
Also, the RFD must be discussed for 30 days before the vote, which gives
an opportunity to change or withdraw.
