In the djgpp sources, and likely elsewhere, I find that a wordy licence and
copyright (or `copyleft') at the start of each of a great lot of (often quite
short) *.CC and *.C and *.H files add up to a BIG amount of extra text! Once
when my PC was short of space, I went through my djgpp sources and edited out
all the licences. That freed a LOT!!!!! of my scarce hard disk space.
Why can't djgpp have a directory C:\DJGPP\LICENCES\*.* containing one copy
of each different sort of licence? Then each licenced *.CC and *.C and *.H
file need only have a single line of comment saying e.g.:-

/*** For conditions of use of this file see file DJGPP\LICENCES\LIC-A.TXT ***/

- Raw text -
