Subject: EMU387 and DPMI

I'm trying to get someone else's MS-DOS port of emacs 19.28 to run. It
is compiled with djgcc 1.11m5. It is clear from my testing (on a
couple of 386 non-coprocessor systems) that there is a terminal
problem with EMU387 and DPMI.

Does this limitation still exist?

The .doc file for V1.10 (I think) mentions that 387 emulation doesn't
work under DPMI. I couldn't find any change in the status of this in
.doc files for later versions, yet the FAQ doesn't mention it. (And
everyone who is porting emacs 19 to DOS must have coprocessors, since
they never mention the problem.)
