Hello djgppiers,

Can someone give me the big picture of what it takes to write a C compiler
for another processor other than the pc flavor?  I am currently writing code
for a microcontroller in assembler, and I think that it would be neat to
make a gcc for this 14 bit chip.  This would be a cross-compiler that runs
on a pc to generate the 14 bit object code.

Any direction on this will be greatly appreciated.
