Couple of days ago, I logged in to oak.oakland.edu, the sites from
where I usually get my djgpp compiler, and to my great surprise,
I could not recognize any file that is related to the compiler.
There was couple of files with no explanations.

They were there last night, my time ;-) What did you see, lots and
lots of garbage, or two bizarre-looking objects that didn't seem to be
related to DJGPP? Could you find the directory itself?
What does happen, occasionally, is that you show up when they're
doing maintenance on the archive, and the directory listing is
temporarily screwed up. As I recall in those cases you don't see the
DJGPP files, just a couple of housekeeping files.
You see the same kind of thing at WUARCHIVE, so I may be confusing
my experiences ;-)
