Definitely.  I'm using 19.24, which is the next-to-last version I know of. 
 (DJ said
"don't use 19.25, it's broken in djgpp" so I didn't try that one.)  There's 
a makefile
in the 19.24 kit that is meant for building under djgpp, and it basically 
works
other than the fact it references some Unix commands like "rm".  I kludged 
up
some really dumb hack programs to do those things and then it worked.
(The right answer is presumably to build the GNU "fileutils" but I didn't 
want to
bother.)

I think the kit came from the DEC fileserver (gatekeeper.dec.com); it 
shadows
the whole GNU library at /pub/GNU.
