Stephen, unfortunately that's not true. When I speak about Tex tp my colleagues
they think (and answer thereof) that TeX is either a word pertaining to some
obscure vulgar jargon or that its use should be declared unlawfull
now that we hawe WYSIWYG (that is, the possibility not to think about what
you are doing). Even people in the Un*x support group.

This is not to speak against TeX: I *love* TeX, and I switched fully from a
renowned 'desktop publishing' package to it some time ago. This is just a
crude description of the current situation.
