Subject:	ERROR MSG: crt0.o: malformed input file

I have just installed djgpp 1.12 on a 386sx with Hercules display (ie. no 
VGA) and MFM drives, 8 megs of RAM and plenty of disk space.

I think I followed the installation procedure correctly, including the m1 
and m2 fixups, and setting the environment variables in autoexec.bat.

When running any of the tests, including tryit, I get the following message:

   D:\djgpp\lib\crt0.o: malformed input file (not rel or archive)

What did I do to deserve that?
