Signals (including SIGALRM) are not supported in GO32 version 1.X.
They will be in version 2.0 (as we're told).

For the time being, you can use the timer16() and timer32()
routines that were posted to this list a while ago,
and do some polling yourself ('poor man's alarm')!    ;-)
