Trying to install a minimum gcc on a 386/387 with little disk space
I'm trying to install each module only when required.

I have put gcc.exe and cpp.exe and cc1.exe in the current directory
(that's for trial) and when I run gcc (with -v option) the system
crashes with a coitinuous beep beep beep... Of course I cannot
stop that nieht with contrl-C nor contrl-break.

Note this is a DOS 5.0, with 2Mbytes memory, and 95% of the upper
memory is dedicated to XMS.

---> has some body a translation of this beep beep beep beep
in english, french, german, spanish or computer science language ?

Thanks.

NB: do not tell me I dit not install the whole of the djgpp, but
tell me precisely the meaning of that diag, in the same way thet
- before - it explicitely complained about not finding CPP, then CC1.exe.
(I got spurious diags and I set the environment variable djgpp to
the right *.env file).
