From the Unix-haters handbook, I picked out a gem:
C++ is to C as lung cancer is to lung...

Actually, if people don't regularly use ansi C (which is much
better than K&R C), I'm not sure why even use C++...

Not debating the merits of C++, but if much C code is obfucated,
C++ leads to even higher levels of obfuscation.
