About portability

I agree with Eli Zaretskii about the great simplicity in porting
UNIX C programs to DJGPP. I have more experience in porting DOS
programs to UNIX, not in the other way. Using DJGPP I can use the
same source in DOS or UNIX, with only a few conditionals and defines
here and there, that would mostly be necessary also with other DOS
compilers, I think.
And I work mostly with number-crunching programs with graphical
output, that do not use many interrupts or unusual routines, and
were developed in DOS.
