Subject: force C++ compile?

Using DJGPP, how does one force a g++ compile regardless of the file's
extension? Other versions of GCC provide two front-ends: gcc and g++. There
are times in the course of my work where it is useful to check a C source
tree for C++ compatibility by forcing it to be compiled under C++. I don't
want to rename all my files just to do this.
