Subject: Summary: Using DJTAR programs to write to DAT tape

I asked a question yesterday about writing tar-format SCSI-connected
DAT tapes using something based on djgpp. I received a number of helpful
replies, and thanks to those who sent them, particularly Kurt Alstrup
and Henrik Storner who pointed me in the direction of aspibin,
a port of GNU TAR that runs of top of the ASPI drivers, which are
semi-universal API's to SCSI devices in the DOS world. I haven't
yet had a chance to confirm it works, but if it doesn't work out of
the box I'm hoping it won't be too much effort to DJ-ise it and
get it to work.

Thanks again to all those who took the time and effort to reply.
