To whom will answer my question:

I have a stupid windows question.  If I want to compile using this great C
compiler while in ms windows, how should I configure my system to optimize the
compile time?  I only have 4mb of memory, and I only have 80 mb free on 
the disk.

When I run in plain dos, the compile is completed in the blink of an eye, but
in the yucky windows environment it takes a lot of disk io and time to do the
job.  Please help.
