There are three ways of searching for libraries:

(1) Specify a complete path, like "gcc foo.o c:/djgpp/mystuff/lib/mystuff.a"

(2) Use the -L<libdir> option to gcc and -l<library>.

(3) Add components to the LIBRARY_PATH environment variable.
