Subject: rebuild cc1 on DOS

from Jacques BELLE Email 100016 DOT 2072 AT compuserve DOT com
to : all DOS wizards knowing how to rebuild cc1

I'm a Unix user of the FSF products. I need to rebuild cc1 on DOS to control
the alignment of the elements in structures (#define HANDLE_SYSV_PRAGMA in
c-pragma.c).

Starting from GNU CDROM Compiler tools binaries, I've first applied
configur.bat to build makefile .. nice working until now.

Then I use gcc and cc1 coming with the CDROM to rebuild cc1 itself

Now using makefile ..

with ndmake (make45l) there is an overflow of the parameter list (128 char on
DOS ) for each gcc line of command

or with gnu's make the same problem occurs in each -mv $(STAGESTUFF) stage1

So how to rebuild FSF products in a DOS environment ?
