Rather than look for the missing ld, I'd suggest that you get the current
1.11 release from oak.oakland.edu, directory SimTel/msdos/djgpp.  If you do
this, make sure you also get the maintenance upgrades in files dj111m1.zip
through dj111m5.zip in the same directory.
