Subject:	djgpp (gcc or gcc-rm) + NT = wedged dos box

I'm trying to use djgpp 1.11.maint5 with windows NT (with
all the latest "service packs" installed.) trying to use
anything pretty much wedges the dos box being
used at the time (even just typing "go32", it 
wedges after after the first couple of lines of
output). the same installation works
fine under normal dos and windows.
is there some extra voodoo i have to
perform in order to get this to work?
