I'm looking for a tar that does not truncate filenames under DOS. I need
it to untar an archive under WIN-NT in a DOS box. djtarx and DLANCIANI-tar
both do a 8.3 truncation which is not what I want on a NTFS.

Any ideas? Can I build gnu-tar out of the box under NT or using
gcc (djgpp) under NT (I'm using djgpp tools already under NT, btw).
