   Is there any chance to force GRX to work in a fullscreen-DOS-box ?

Well, yes, if you're willing to switch to DESQview/X and run Windows
in a DV/X window and the GRX program in a DV/X full-screen-DOS-box.
I've only run a test program that way, though, and it was under DV/X
1.1.
    Probably not the answer you wanted, but....
