Hi !

How to avoid newcomer network traffic:

There are a lot of newcomers to the djgpp list who manage to subscribe to 
the list without help. That means, they get a subscribe-verification message 
from listserv.

Would it be VERY complicated to add some information to that message:

a) where to find FAQ.txt (or maybe send the complete FAQ)
b) where are most common mirrors of DJGPP
c) what are the actual version numbers 
d) where to look for the archive files of the list.
e) <to be continued>

????

That would at least avoid some of the traffic.
