Subject: Herclues Dynamite & ATI Ultra Pro support?

Hi, another question on 24 bit graphics.
I'm currently looking at getting a Gateway 2000 486DX2/66 to run DJGPP
on, among other things. It includes an 'ATI LX' card, which is the OEM
version of the 'Ultra Pro', and uses DRAM instead of VRAM.
Anyone out there have experience with this card, or the non-OEM
version? Specifically, can I just have go32 shove me into the correct
VESA compatible mode, and then blast pixels over to the card and have
page flipping, etc. all work transparently?

Also, I'm considering telling them to keep their stupid card, which they
swore 6 ways from Sunday was _EXACTLY_ the same as an Ultr Pro, and
buying a Hercules Dynamite VL Pro with 2MB. Experiences with this one?

* what about off-brand ET4000/w32i cards? Good idea? Bad idea?
