I also tried it on hp710/hpux8.07 and succeded in building gcc only
not c++. The configure file needs to be expanded to include a case for
i386-ibm-go32 , and also the binutils are set up for aout system not
coff so I worked with go32 1.09, and libs and built 2.5.8. Here is the
diff for configure :

I dont know how hard it is to build it for 1.11 since it uses coff format.
