exec*() and spawn*() in libc.a automatically detect other go32
programs and pass them long command lines using their private protocol.

Four.  You forgot !proxy, which stub and exec() use.  The environment
method is officially called "the gnuish-dos method", since it's
supported by all programs ported by that project.  djgpp programs
support that method, but never generate it.
