Subject: makeinfo

I've had difficulties using the version of makeinfo which came with 1.11 on
some .txi files from another software package. (I never tried older
makeinfo's.) The problem .txi file produces a proper ~500K info file if
splitting is disabled. But, if splitting is allowed, the output files have
only a few lines of header followed by many KB of zeroes. If I send the
files to a Unix system and run makeinfo there, the info files are created
properly. Both the djgpp makeinfo and the Unix version claim to be version
1.55. Where should I report this problem? Making info files is a one-shot
thing, so it doesn't hurt me much if I have to do it under unix, especially
since that's where the txi files originate.
