Subject: F2C Question

I've just started playing with f2c, and I have, basically, a novice question.

Chris, sorry I lost your email address, sent me a reply to my 32 bit Fortran
question in which he suggested I use the AT&T f2c found at research.att.com
/netlib/f2c. I got this and f2cx.exe works great. I also got tpf2c100.zip
from omnigate and then I used f77 and i77 libs to compile the code obtained
from f2cx.exe. My question is, I think f2cx.exe is a newer version then
the one in tpf2c100 on omnigate, so I'ld like to use the newest libs too.
On research.att.com in netlib/f2c there are these two libs, but should I
expect them to work with gcc?

And, according to the docs at AT&T they suggest that one might merge f77 ad
i77 into, say, libf2c. How does one do this? I tried "copy /b ..." but
that didn't work.

Thanks for any help!
