DJGPP comes with an excellent 32 bit fortran (f2c). Don't think it's merely
a fortran to C converter, it's a really good if not the best f77 compiler
I know - at least what standard obeyance is concerned. And it really gives 
good warnings and messages, discovers old sins in old program you won't
believe :-)

It's from AT&T (log into research.att.com, cd netlib/f2c - I mean ftp account)
They do maintain it - David M. Gay a fellow of no one lesser than
S (Stu )Feldman - the father of f77.
