gcc is trying to use the DPMI memory provided by QDPMI. Either use QSETUP to
disable QDMPI, turn qdpmi off before you run gcc ('qdpmi off') or wait for 
djgpp 1.11 which is kinder to DPMI as it uses COFF as the default binary image.
