Subject:	Help! (I'm probably a moron but I can't figure...)

Help! (This is most likely a really stupid question):

I've set up all the minimum files on my system for djgpp.

BUT, when I try to compile some of the sample files I get errors from ld.exe

specifically on the program samples/grtask   
I run the makefile and the error 

ld: can't open gcc

comes up. What am I doing wrong?
