Subject: VESA driver info

To whom it may concern...

The old, usually working VESA stuff is located at omnigate in main djgpp
directory, file name gmvsa001.zip.
It works with most VESA compatible cards, including TVGA8900/9000, Tseng
ET4000 (all versions I tested, including VL), ALI VL
, all Cirrus 542x. It does not work with universal VESA TSR, but it works
with most VESA TSRs supplied with VGA cards.

The VESA driver works with CBGRX 1.02 in all modes up to 32K colors.
To use 64K and 16M color modes, you can use my non-standard minimal
graphics library (also works with 16
- and 32-bit DOS compilers), or wait for GRX 1.03.

The driver doesn't like cards with separate read/write banks - reading
from screen on these cards may yield strange results.

The driver requires modified GO32 1.09 (supplied with driver), fixed
version of 1.10 or 1.11. The fix in 1.10 is due to error in TC 2.0.
You can also get 1.10 sources and compile it with BC 3.x, without
any modifications.
