Hi,

  Sorry to post this question here, but I haven't found an answer
anywhere (especially those stupid man pages on my sun). Anyway,
I want to add to a library that already exists. I tried using,

      ar ru $(LIB) @lib.rf

where $(LIB) contains the name of the existing library and lib.rf
is the name of the response file containing the routines to be
added to the lib. However, make (ndmake45, ygmake, and other
variants) all tell me that $(LIB) is up to date. Does anyone know
how to do this?

  While I'm taking up band width I also thought I would ask where
the "spawno" library is located? :)
