This isn't exactly a djgpp question, but being the Compiler Of Choice
for Discerning Users of DVX ...
 
A student wandered into my lab, noticed me running djgpp under DVX, and
asked if I'd considered connecting the PC with our Irix machines through
a SLIP connection.  I said, "Say wha?" but he'd vanished.

Does anyone know or have any experience in such a connection?  I'd
love to connect via modem from home, but I'd be satisfied with a local
connection over a serial line.
