That's strange!! Last night I was running a program that multiplies 2  

500x500 matrices storing the result on a 500x500 matrix.  No problems

at all.  The arrays are of type 'double'!!

The problem could be caused from passing the arrays to functions.

If that's the case make sure you define them globally.

I don't usually typedef my arrays.  Take out the typedef's for the arrays

and see if that makes any difference.
